Group Tenting
Fort Camping offers a large group tenting 
area that comfortably holds 65 but can accommodate up to 100. New for 2009, we offer tent cabins as part of the group camping area. The tent-cabins can accommodate a total of 30 people in 3 tent cabin structures (5 sets of bunk beds in each cabin = 10 beds per cabin).
This site is ideal for youth groups, family reunions, church groups, education seminars, school trips and large company/community functions.
Amenities in the group site include:
- Large, screened in, picnic area with limited power (enough to plug in a coffee maker), sink with cold water, stainless steel counter top, and picnic tables with seating for 65.
- 1 group fire pit area.
- Parking for up to 10 vehicles.
- 3 tent cabins that accommodate 10 persons per cabin (5 sets of bunk beds in each).
- 10 gravel tenting pads to each hold a back packing tent (tents not provided).
- Active grassed play area.
- Close to bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities.
- Adjacent to a 2 km walking trail and other activity facilities (pool, playground, beach, children’s activity hall, Paddle Centre).
- Adjacent to full service RV sites (at an additional charge).
Fees:
(based on a minimum of 25 people)
- $18 per person, per night, for the first 25 people in our Peak Season (Jun 14/10 - Sep 7/10). After the first 25, it is $9 a night per each additional.
- The rest of the year we also offer a special non-profit rate of $14 per person, per night for the first 25 people. After the first 25, it is $7 a night per each additional.
