Important Message – Your Well-being Above All
This has no doubt been an incredibly challenging time. We, like the rest of the world, have been closely tracking every new development related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and have been in constant contact with provincial and local health officials for guidance.
We are in the people business. The health, safety and well-being of our people, our communities, our team members, guests and visitors have been our priority and focus. We know each decision we make has a broad impact far and beyond our operations.
In light of the current national and global crisis and based on the British Columbia government’s declaration of a provincial state of emergency, it is our duty and responsibility to protect all of our stakeholders.
We have made the tough decision to temporarily close for all short term reservations at Fort Camping as of 9AM, on Monday March 23rd, 2020, until it is advisable to re-open.  All reservation during this period will be cancelled and refunded.
It is our social responsibility and the right thing to do under the current circumstances and a crucial measure in the national and global fight against the virus. This was not an easy decision to make, as we deeply considered the impact it will have on our loyal guests, visitors, employees, and the people and businesses in our community.
Please call 604-888-3678 for any questions or concerns. Call volumes are higher than usual and we are working with a skeleton staff but we will return your call as soon as we can.
At this point we are unable to take any new reservations until such time we know the exact date when we can safely open. We hope that this will happen soon at which time we will start to take bookings again.
We sincerely apologized for any inconvenience that this may cause you and we look forward to welcoming you when it is safe and advisable to reopen.

The kids of all ages will love our many planned and supervised fun, recreational, educational and interpretive programs that take place throughout the day. This leaves parents and grandparents (our big kids) with time to play a game of horseshoes, take a kayaking lesson or just relax on the beach.
